American Association of School Librarians (AASL) Affiliate Assembly: The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) is the only national professional membership organization focused on school librarians and the school library community. AASL has more than 7,000 members and serves school librarians in the United States, Canada, and around the world. The Affiliate Assembly, a bi-yearly gathering of appointed delegates from state level school librarian organizations, ensures the AASL Board of Directors is aware of matters of consequence to the school librarian field. AASL also maintains three member sections and two special interest groups that represent a special field of activity within the school library profession.
Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT): The Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) is a professional association of thousands of
educators and others whose activities are directed toward improving instruction through technology. AECT members may be found in colleges and universities; Pre K – 12 schools, in the Armed Forces and industry; in museums, school and public libraries, hospitals; and in the many other places where educational change is underway. AECT members carry out a wide range of responsibilities in the study, planning, application, and production of communications media for instruction.

International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE): The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTEĀ®) is the premier nonprofit organization serving educators and education leaders committed to empowering connected learners in a connected world. ISTE serves more than 100,000 education stakeholders throughout the world. NJASL is a valued affiliate of ISTE and connects with more than 70 other affiliates to share best practices, increase service to members, and strengthen impact in their local education communities.
