Part-Time Reference Librarian
The successful candidate will provide reference service to students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Other professional duties as assigned. Scheduled hours are somewhat flexible, depending on the successful candidate's availability. Work will be performed on-site at the Paramus campus, M-F.
Recent MLS or MLIS graduates are encouraged to apply.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree from an ALA- or AASL-accredited program required.
Strong communication, research and public service skills, ability to work autonomously.
Fluent with print and online library resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing general reference in a library.
Experience with face to face and virtual reference modalities.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Adjunct Instruction Librarian will provide information literacy instruction to students by developing, conducting, and assessing library instruction sessions.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA- or AASL- accredited school is required.
Experience:
Prior teaching experience would be preferred.
Must have a current working knowledge of library databases, internet resources, and ACRL Information Literacy Framework.
Other:
Must be able to work at the Paramus and Meadowlands locations and be available evenings. Must reside in New Jersey.
