Charles Haas is a Titanic expert and President of the Titanic International Society. He has co-authored five books with his partner John Eaton and will be giving a presentation to our group. With the focus on non-fiction in the Common Core

Curriculum standards, this is a presentation that school librarians may be interested in bringing to their schools. His program will be “The Story of the Great Ship” and he will also discuss his personal experience of going down to the wreck in a submersible! This high interest topic has fascinated students and teachers since 1912!

Join us for refreshments and conversation with your colleagues at 4:00 and the presentation will begin at 4:30. This program is free to members and $10 for nonmembers.
