The New Jersey Association of School Librarians has created this page to celebrate our 100th anniversary, 1915 - 2015, and 100 years of inspiring excellence in librarianship and education. From it's formation on March 13, 1915, as The New Jersey School Librarians' Association with just 15 members, the history of NJASL show the tremendous progress the Association and the profession have made.

NJASL will be celebrating the anniversary throughout the year. The kick-off celebration with take place on March 14, 2015, at the NJASL Spring Event. And we will culminate the anniversary with several special events during the NJASL Fall Conference, November 15-17, 2015. We hope you will join us at these celebrations!

NJASL will also be posting articles, archives, stories and photo's to this page over the next couple of months, so that you can learn more about the history of your organization. Check back often to see what's new, and old!
