New Jersey Association of School Librarians Retirees (NJASL-R)

NJASL-R is a Standing Committee of NJASL, and encourages as many Librarians/Library Media Specialists as possible to join in making this new committee a successful component of our State organization for retired NJASL members and prospective retirees of the Library Media Specialist Profession.

• Serve as a continuing link between former and current NJASL members
• Help new retirees enter into this phase by having those who have "been there/done that" share their retirement experiences
• Provide volunteer services, especially at annual conferences, to permit current NJASL members to attend meetings, workshops and other functions

Mark your calendar to join us for:

• Our annual Social/Brunch/Meeting held at NJASL's Fall Conference
• Our annual luncheon, held in the spring, where we meet with colleagues who are in the process of retiring from the library profession

News and developments, and dates for the above events will appear in NJASL's Bookmark.
