  • AASL’s Best Websites for Teaching and Learning foster innovation, creativity, active participation, and collaboration among all learners. They are free websites that have been vetted by a committee of educators and school librarians. All sites are user-friendly and encourage communities of learners to explore and discover. Over the past four years, 100 sites have been honored and recognized for the value they add to learning, curriculum, inquiry, and instruction.

In this workshop, participants will explore some of the best of the Best Websites for Teaching and Learning in the area of Managing & Organizing, and will learn how to integrate these tools into standard teaching practices.

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:

    • Integrate web tools in their lesson plans and units that enable students to organize knowledge and information.

    • Use technology to organize and display information in ways that others can view, use and assess.

    • Apply web tools to their own professional lives by learning how to develop an electronic portfolio.
